Sunshine Farms
Co-owned by Adrian Jaques, Sunshine Farms started in 1982 with a love for homegrown asparagus. Today, Sunshine Farms offers 26 varieties of pickles, with half certified organic. They use no preservatives, fillers, or additives, processing vegetables fresh from their fields.
Mario Goulet
Vice-President of Marketing and Business Development at duBreton since 2022, Mario has been with the company since 2008, holding various roles including Account Manager and Sales Manager. He holds a BBA in Marketing from Université Laval.
Marise May
Marise is a social entrepreneur and co-founder of the Montreal-based brand Cha’s Organics. Healthy diets, avoidance of chemical toxins, and environmental protection are core values she was raised with, which led her to pursue a degree in Nutritional Science focusing on plant-based diets at the University of British Columbia where she graduated with honours.
Travis Heide
Raised on a conventional farm in Saskatchewan, Travis founded a large organic farm in 2015 with his wife Amy and brother Garret. They’ve cultivated over 200,000 acres without synthetic chemicals, supplying flour mills, bakeries, and food companies. Travis is also a COTA board member, passionate about championing farmers in the value chain.
