  • 3c granola oats
  • 3/4 c slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp buckwheat groats
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1/2 c maple syrup
  • 1c dried fruit


  1. Preheat oven to 325 F, with rack in the centre. Butter or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl mix the oats, nuts, seeds, salt, ground cinnamon and buckwheat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the oil and maple syrup. Pour this over the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Spread onto the baking sheet and bake for 30-45 minutes or until golden, stirring occasionally.
  5. Cool on a wire rack.
